In contemporary society, technology develop significantly and people need balance the work and relax. Someone predict that between 2000 and 2100 individuals will have more free time than never before. This is because the development of technology. I partly agree with this view because technology can make people's daily lives more convenient but sometimes technology also makes people more busy than before.
On the one hand, technology can make everyone's daily life more convenient than before because in modern society people can travel easily than before. A case in point is that when people want to travel they can choose drive car or choose public traffic but in the earlier years people have to use the horas or by walk. Therefore people can save a lot of time to relax and have a entertainment. Technology changes people lifestyles and make it become more easily than before.
On the other hand, technology can make people's lives more busy than before because it can make the competition more fierce than earlier years. For instance, as the development of technology everyone can use AI for study which is efficiently but when everyone can study quickly it also makes the exam of entrance university or job competitions more difficult. As a result, people have spend more time to study because they have a fear of someone better than themselves. The competition can reduce people's time of relax and making them feel anxiety.
In conclusion, the improvement of technology can makes people's daily lives easier than before but it also can make competitions more difficult. However I believe that the best way to reduce anxiety and have more leisure time is balancing work and relax. In this way they can have happiness.
In this day and age, the development of technology has increasingly changed people’s lives. While some people argue that individuals could benefit from more leisure time than never before in the 21st century in this background, others believe that people will lose most of their free time because of the improvements of technology. From where I stand, I partly agree that individuals could have more time for personal entertainment because of the negative effects brought by technology.
On the one hand, the development of technology may pose a threat on people’s career making them spend time on learning new skills. This is because the technology could develop plenty of robots which could process information and reply basic enquirers. In addition, some companies could replace human labour with robots in several administrative and custom-service positions in order to improve the efficiency at work. Individuals have to constantly improve their working abilities for keeping their jobs. For example, a person who work in a constructive project may lose his job because of the robots which accomplish the complex tasks at a short time. As a result, the development of technology could negatively influence on individual’s career so people need to learn more skills to protect their job career.
On the other hand, the improvements of technology can have a positive effect on saving people’s time. It means people can benefit from the advantages of technology. The quantity of housework could be decreased which could be performed by intelligent robots. Individuals could have more free time to relax and unwind. For instance, when a person give some instructions to the robots, they could quickly and completely clean the house. Consequently, there could be more leisure time for human who can enjoy the life and have a rest.
In conclusion, the development of technology can not only offer more free time to individuals but also make people spend more leisure time on learning working skills. It is recommended that governments should take action to introduce strict policies on the widespread use of technology, and companies should also regularly give some professional lessons to their staff in order to improve their working abilities.
