Fees are set locally by the British Council and IDP and can be adjusted over time, so the €276–286 standard fee should be confirmed on the official booking page before paying — the official ielts.org centre listings show €286 at most German centres while a few partner venues and britishcouncil.de still quote €276. The UKVI (€298) and Life Skills (€198) figures come from the British Council Germany fee table and are not broken out per centre. Paper-based IELTS (which was restricted to legal residents of Germany) ended in mid-2026, so every candidate now books the computer-delivered test.
