- Get your Listening and Reading band instantly. Each correct answer is one mark, and the raw score out of 40 is converted to a band in whole and half bands.
- Review the answer key - with locations and explanations on many tests.

Are IELTSOnlineTests scores accurate?
For Listening and Reading, the arithmetic is sound: IOT converts your raw score out of 40 to a band, as the real test does. The variable is the paper.
IOT says its tests are built from past exam material submitted by students and IELTS teachers, not official Cambridge papers, so difficulty moves from test to test - one mock can run easier or harder than the real exam.
The decision rule: average your last three IOT mocks, treat that average - never a single score - as your working estimate, and check it against one official practice test from the British Council or IDP before you book.
